What begins as a medical and practical solution soon turns into a status symbol. Wealthy individuals start hiring surrogates not out of necessity, but out of pure convenience—avoiding the gym, diets, and even the effort of maintaining healthy habits.

Cory, an employee of the company, believes he is helping to improve lives. But when his sister—also employed by the corporation—dies under suspicious circumstances, he begins to suspect that the surrogate technology hides dark secrets.
